Featuring 26 spacious apartments, including two opulent rooftop penthouses, 835 High wonderfully delivers on the art of fine living.
A culmination of years of meticulous research and detailing by Moda and one of Australia’s most recognised and influential design teams, Carr Design, this timeless development presents the perfect balance of luxury and lifestyle in Armadale.
As well as spacious, carefully crafted two and three-bedroom homes offering stunning city views, this project is specifically created to look after its residents’ health and wellbeing.
835 High is delighted to welcome a brand new Leaf Store to the ground level tenancy. This is a passionately owned and operated business that supports more than 400 local growers, farmers, and suppliers, stocking a wide range of seasonal produce, as well as organic and conventional grocery essentials.
Catering to a host of dietary requirements, including organic, gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, and vegetarian options, plus specialty items including fresh deli, pantry, bread, dairy and healthy take-home foods — this really will offer residents the best produce right on their doorsteps.
At the heart of this sustainable store is the custodian, Leon Mugavin. After gaining considerable experience on a vegetable, cattle, and dairy farm in Port Fairy, an article on the future of food retail stopped him in his tracks, and he knew he had to open his own store.
That day arrived ten years later and with it proud parents and three children that forever inspired the store’s philosophy: ‘If it’s not good enough to feed my family, it’s not good enough to be in my store’.
With the same fresh approach to quality over quantity, the village grocer will give customers the opportunity to create ownership of The Leaf Store. Inviting feedback means that this wonderful store continues to adapt to society’s changes.
For example, 70 per cent of plastic has now been eliminated from the business, along with innovative approaches such as wrapping organic beans with banana leaves, and a home delivery service — all signs that The Leaf Store and 835 High will be delivering healthy convenience for years to come.
This magical mix of lifestyle and luxury is the cornerstone of what 835 High is built on. The latter of which is on show for all to see in the magnificent foyer — setting the tone for the rest of this lavish development.
Moda has commissioned internationally renowned Sydney artist and sculptor Anna-Wili Highfield to create a stunning 12-metre high feature piece in this grand and communal gateway.
Anna-Wili has eschewed the traditional gallery system with a trajectory that has taken her work from a local designer’s living room to the boutiques of Tiffany and Hermès. She now presents ‘Bird’ to 835 High, which wraps elegantly into the interior lobby space, dynamically animating the void by dancing with light and shadow play.
For Moda, a place to live should be light and modern, and they have brilliantly brought this philosophy into the opulent residences at 835 High. Carr Design present homes that feature layered textures and natural materials, guided by the dynamic appeal of Armadale’s arts precinct.
From the luxurious island benches in the penthouses to the large-scale joinery forms, this building balances design excellence with fine aesthetics to create a special place to call home.
The layout is designed to take advantage of generous glazed windows that open out to the beautiful vistas of the city skyline and Armadale. Additionally, large balconies showcase views east and south across treetops towards Port Phillip Bay and the southern suburbs.
At the heart of every home lies the spacious and luxurious kitchen. Centred around a large island bench where family and friends can gather, each features smart joinery, clever shelving, Meile appliances and wine fridges.
Bedrooms and bathrooms are generously designed to welcome daily rituals in complete comfort within a personal sanctuary. While private green balconies and courtyards provide the botanical backdrop to life at 835 High Street. These sophisticated sanctuaries, courtesy of renowned Acre Studio, are designed to imbue the same elements of a traditional backyard, but in a more refined setting.
This project continues this refined lifestyle above with the private rooftop pool for the two half-floor penthouses. Each of these luxurious residences features an incredible 300 sqm of terrace space.
Residents won’t have to travel far for their lifestyle amenity. 835 High is around the corner from Armadale's world-class shopping strip and eateries, while an array of transport links await to take people into Melbourne’s CBD located just 6km away.
