A Gold Coast family has privately secured the $11.5 million penthouse at Camilla, QNY's forthcoming $125 million Broadbeach development, ahead of its formal release to market.

The sale, made without advertising or a display suite, comes as construction is scheduled to begin in October 2026.

Set on a coveted east-facing corner at 162 Surf Parade, Camilla will rise 25 levels, offering uninterrupted views across council green space toward the ocean and the Broadbeach skyline.

QNY director Anthony Quinn said the sale carried particular significance given the family’s local connection.

"Having another local family place their confidence in us and choose Camilla as their home before we've launched the project makes this sale particularly special," Anthony said.

"We're not trying to build the biggest buildings on the Gold Coast.

"We're focused on creating some of the best homes."

Conceived as a substantial private residence in the sky rather than a conventional apartment, the four- bedroom penthouse features radial skylights and has been designed around the way the family intends to live.

QNY is now collaborating with Carr Architecture and Carr Interiors to bring the family's vision to life, with custom details being incorporated throughout the residence.

"Luxury, to us, isn't about excess for the sake of excess," Anthony said.

"It's about architecture, proportion, materiality and getting the details right."

Camilla will comprise just 31 residences across 25 levels, including the double-storey four-bedroom penthouse, 14 full-floor three- and four-bedroom residences and 16 half-floor two-bedroom residences.

Resident amenities across the building will include a bathhouse-inspired pool and rejuvenation area, spa, sauna, cold plunge, gym and landscaped grounds reserved for quiet repose.

Kollosche agent Ryan Ward said the early sale reflected mounting demand for the scale and privacy of a substantial home, married to the convenience of apartment living.

"It's a privilege to help a local family secure such a significant home, and I congratulate them on their purchase," Ryan said.

Their decision to commit to Camilla before its formal launch speaks strongly to the quality of the project and the confidence they have in what QNY is creating."

Camilla follows the sell-out of QNY's 21-level No.21 Broadbeach Blvd, currently under construction, marking the next chapter for the Gold Coast developer-builder.

"No.21 established the standard we wanted to set for QNY. Camilla is about taking everything we've learned and pushing the architecture, personalisation and detail further," Anthony said.

"The Gold Coast is my home, so these projects are personal to me.

"I want to look back in 20 years and be proud of what we contributed to the city, not because we built the most, but because what we built mattered."

The remaining Camilla residences are expected to reach market later this year.
