SunBuilt, a BuildCap company, has relaunched Marq II, formerly Marine Quarter, at 165-167 Marine Parade, Southport, Gold Coast.
The 34-level, 158-residence development has a $200 million end value, with the Level 16 slab poured and the core up to Level 20.

The weighted average price for a new Gold Coast apartment reached $2.634 million in the June 2026 quarter according to Urbis.
The development sits on the Broadwater Parklands, as light rail station is a short walk away.
Interiors are by Plus Architecture, building design by WallaceBrice, construction documentation by Mode.
Revamped and relaunched following an upgrade of building, rooftop and interiors.
“There is almost nothing left on the Gold Coast waterfront at this price," said director of Build Cap, Stuart Biggs.
"The people coming through had written off the idea of owning on the Broadwater, and they are finding they can do it from $770,000."
Stuart said there's been change in the suburb of Southport.
“Southport is in the middle of a decade of change.
"The arena, the light rail and the parklands all point the same way.
"Marq II sits right in front of that, and buyers understand what it means for the next ten years.”
Stuart said the relaunch focuses on delivering refined design elements.
“We went back through the whole building before we relaunched it," Stuart said.
"The rooftop, the interiors and the finishes have all been lifted.
"What we are delivering now is a better building than the one originally approved.”

Craig O'Leary, general manager of Sunbuilt said buyers like to see the construction progress.
“The Level 16 slab is poured and the core is up to Level 20," said Craig.
"On a build this size, what buyers want is steady visible progress, and that is what they are getting.
“Building it ourselves means we control the program, the cost and the quality.
"There is no gap between what the developer wants and what the builder delivers, because it is the same team.
“SunBuilt exists to bring stability and long-term confidence to high-rise construction on the Coast.
"Marq II is the clearest demonstration of that.”
