Lauded as one of the developments to watch in Sydney, AURA by Aqualand launched this week with stage 1 already 70% sold.

The $1 billion luxury mixed-use residential development has been turning heads and piquing interest across the luxury property market thanks to its breathtaking views, masterful architecture, oversized floorplans, leafy surroundings and host of urban amenities.

Two opulent sub-penthouse apartments have sold for $8 million and $8.15 million, with one snapped up by a local Mosman downsizer. Downsizers formed the bulk of the purchasers at AURA, attracted to the leafy residential location and the forecasted boom in North Sydney.

Ben Stewart, CBRE Sydney Director, commented that AURA has been extremely well received by the market and client enquiries and lead generation has been strong. “Many buyers are looking for two and three-bedrooms and are impressed with the offering. The apartments [at AURA] are larger than anything on offer on the Lower North Shore and boasts incredible panoramic views,” he said.

So far, the three-bedroom apartments have proven to be the most popular. Priced from $3 million, these luxury homes have been catching the eye of owner-occupiers as well as some investors. A significant portion of buyers hailed from the upper North Shore looking for downsizing opportunities - selecting AURA for the premium quality and craftsmanship on offer as well as the development’s proximity to Sydney CBD and Barangaroo.

North Sydney is also welcoming significant government and private infrastructure works. The projects will reinforce Miller Street as the civic spine of North Sydney, delivering over 17,000sqm of new parklands and activated plazas, creating a new network of laneways and improving pedestrian safety and amenity.

Furthermore, plans are in place to transform the tramway viaduct into a large active recreation space and new laneways running between buildings and spaces to create hidden pockets of North Sydney to get lost in. The area will be home to vibrant new cafes, bars and walking trails that will add exciting chapters to the evolving cultural ecosystem of the area.

The new Sydney Metro Victoria Cross station, adjacent to AURA, adds another transportation option to the flurry of trains, buses, ferries, pedestrian and cycling paths at its doorstep, in addition to the freeways in every direction.

At the centre of it all, AURA is a bold statement in design, functionality and beauty, bound intimately to its natural setting - a truly sophisticated expression of modern harbourside living. Hugging the Harbour and Sydney’s heartland precincts, AURA by Aqualand sits close to excellent schools and beautiful walks, as well as cultural icons.

In addition to the wealth of offerings at AURA, the development team is also raising the bar in luxury apartment living with a unique 360-degree lifestyle offering through its hospitality arm - Etymon Projects.

Etymon Projects was created to bring the five-star hotel experience to AURA by combining traditional concierge services with lifestyle management. AURA residents can embrace a truly effortless lifestyle thanks to this unique offering inspired by similar services in New York, China, Singapore and Hong Kong luxury apartment markets. The service incorporates the first of its kind, dedicated concierge service designed to enhance day-to-day living.

In addition, Etymon Project’s next-level The Club will tailor its services to fit residents’ individual lifestyle needs. Options include Home Management for packing groceries, coordinating tradespeople, watering plants and vehicle maintenance, and Home Event Planning for dinner parties, children’s birthday parties and special events.

Etymon Projects will also manage a providore, artisan bakery, casual all-day diner and a contemporary Japanese eatery in AURA’s vibrant cultural precinct. For more information on AURA by Aqualand, click here.
