As AURA by Aqualand is fully completed and move-in ready, buyers have been settling into their brand-new North Sydney homes.

With 60% of buyers being owner-occupiers, the iconic harbourside tower is now teeming with life and a community being established within its walls.

“We’re seeing the residents are already forming a vibrant community, and, as most buyers are owner-occupiers, this is only going to strengthen over time,” said Alex Adams, head of sales and marketing at Aqualand.

“They’re making the most of their brand-new five-star amenities and are enjoying sharing them with family and friends.”

Here’s what buyers had to say…

Evelyn’s testimony

The practice manager of an inner-city law firm, Evelyn Cummins and her husband have left the last of unpacking behind them and fell in love with their luxurious two-bedroom AURA apartment.

What sealed the deal in the first place? The iconic Sydney Harbour views.

“I thought, for the first time in my life, I’d like to be able to look out the window and see the Sydney Harbour every day,” Evelyn said.

“When I’m home, I feel like I’m cocooned in a beautifully quiet part of the world, enjoying panoramic views.

“Watching the ferries crossing the harbour is like a private show.”

Evelyn and her husband bought their AURA residence two years ago, and though the views are what captured her, it is the quality of the project that she now appreciates.

“It’s clear that the architects and design team have thought carefully about details that perhaps you wouldn’t notice on the plan, but they make a huge difference to the comfort of the home at the end of the day,” she says.

Whether it’s the beautiful fittings of her apartment, the TV screens in the gym being just the right height for a workout, or the stunning pool amenity, Evelyn is ecstatic about her new “peaceful oasis.”

David and Nada’s testimony

David Wesson and Nada Khongsom lived down the road from AURA by Aqualand and watched the project’s construction from day one.

David, who worked for another developer for several years, noticed Aqualand’s higher construction standards. So, the couple visited the display room and was immediately in love with AURA’s offering.

Now, David and Nada reside in one of AURA’s stunning one-bedroom apartments.

“I think for us, first and foremost, it was the location because we were happy with the area,” said David.

“But, being in the North Sydney area, we were aware of what other sort of apartment blocks there are here.

“As soon as we saw AURA and came down to the sales centre, we just got a feeling it was just a cut above the rest in terms of amenities, the professionalism, the choices that AURA had, and the whole [purchasing] process was just seamless.”

When asked what their favourite feature of their home is, Nada instantly said the design and the quality of the materials in their one-bedroom apartment – which is 15 sqm bigger than the average one-bedroom apartment in the area.

As for David, it was the amenities, as well as the quality of their modern apartment.

“We’ve got a gym and a pool now, but nothing like the ones at AURA,” said David.

“Just having that quality of lifestyle living in a building with all those amenities, pool, gym, restaurants, and wine bar, we’ll probably never want to leave North Sydney!”

David has complete confidence that the project will stand the test of time and increase in value as the neighbourhood’s transformation continues. Plus, with the metro just next door, the couple truly appreciates these conveniences.

“North Sydney’s just got a vibe about it now, so for us, it’s not only a great place to live, it’s also a good investment,” David continued.

“There’s going to be a lot of changes in North Sydney, so if you’re looking to invest, AURA’s a great option.”

An anonymous buyer’s testimonial

When this anonymous AURA buyer – a downsizer seeking the perfect apartment – began their search, their checklist was straightforward. The residence needed to be spacious, conveniently located, and surrounded by green spaces.

AURA checked all these boxes.

The buyer opted for a three-bedroom apartment with a balcony, offering the perfect layout for hosting guests.

“We often start with drinks at home before heading downstairs for dinner,” they shared.

“The great dining options downstairs are like an extension to our home.

“We also appreciate that the restaurant staff are so friendly!

“We have gotten to know them well and they help us entertain our guests.”

After all, AURA’s true distinction lies in its ability to foster a sense of community – an aspect that this buyer quickly came to appreciate.

The complex’s five-star hotel-style concierge service and multi-level hospitality precinct made settling in a seamless experience.

“Having the concierge and the dining options within the complex helped us to settle into our new community,” they explained.

“Not to mention, the other residents are friendly.”

With AURA’s proximity to the new Reddam House North Shore across the road, the brand-new Victoria Cross metro station, and the sprawling St Leonards Park, the development’s location also became a key drawcard.

A home for all

Though downsizers make up most of AURA’s occupants, young professionals and families are moving into their two- and three-bedroom apartments – affirming that AURA is a project for all.

“As residences are now complete and ready to move in, it’s been important for us to provide new buyers the opportunity to experience the quality of the build, luxury materials, and meticulous attention to detail we’ve become renowned for firsthand,” Alex Adams said.

“We’re seeing purchasers choosing to ‘rightsize’ into all our types of residences.

“The connectivity and convenient location of AURA is an attractive drawcard, especially since the completion of the Victoria Cross metro station next door and the new Reddam House vertical school across the street are quickly taking shape.”

You, too, can be part of this thriving new community, with one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom residences still available at AURA by Aqualand.

Oversized apartments with one bedroom, one bathroom, and one study are priced from $2.15 million.
