Tomkins commences construction today on the highly anticipated Rockpool Rainbow Bay by Joe Adsett Architects

Tomkins Commercial, one of Southeast Queensland’s most reputable builders, has today (April 12) commenced construction on the highly anticipated luxury oceanfront development, Rockpool Rainbow Bay.

The $100M apartment development was developed and designed by national award-winning architecture firm Joe Adsett Architects. It will comprise 21 high-end skyhomes that command sweeping ocean views of Rainbow Bay and the iconic Snapper Rocks.

Earthworks are officially underway onsite. Located on 154-156 Marine Parade, Rockpool will be within walking distance of Snapper Rocks’ world-class beaches.

The development is already seeing tremendous success, with 80% of residences sold to buyers keen to snap up a residence on one of the Gold Coast’s most highly sought-after beachfront streets.

Taking inspiration from its coastal surrounds, Joe Adsett Architects will deliver a signature sub-tropical modernist architectural approach to beachfront apartment living through Rockpool.

With construction commenced, Mr Adsett revealed that an exclusive collection of just three full-floor penthouses will be released to the market - the first of its kind in the area.

“Now that the project is under construction and we have reached 80% sold, we will be launching the hotly anticipated Rockpool penthouse collection,” he said.

Offering expansive luxury living starting at 520 sqm, the ‘jewel in the crown’ penthouse collection comprises five bedrooms, five and a half bathrooms, three living areas, four garaged car parks, a private wine cellar, a fireplace, and uninterrupted ocean vistas never to be built out.

The beachfront tower will comprise 21 bespoke apartments of three, four, and five-bedroom specifications ranging from 245 to 512 sqm in size.

At the heart of each residence is a large kitchen with an oversized island bench.

Rockpool will also feature a suite of tailored amenities exclusive to residents, including a private heated lap pool, sauna, gymnasium, beach lockers, and private office spaces.
