The Urban Developer announced the finalists for the 2022 Urban Developer Awards on Monday, the 30th of May. The finalists cover categories across two streams: Industry Excellence Awards and Development of the Year Awards.
With participating projects and organisations of all sizes and sectors from both Australia and New Zealand, the Awards are truly a celebration of the best in the industry.
In the Development of the Year - High-Density Residential category, Queens Place was nominated by 3L Alliance. With a level of communal amenities above and beyond that of any residential development in Melbourne’s history, Queens Place is truly deserving of this finalist position.
BLUE at Lavender Bay was nominated by Aqualand for the same category as well as the Development of the Year - Urban Regeneration award. Situated on Australia’s iconic Sydney Harbour, BLUE boasts the finest of Sydney living.
In the Development of the Year - Medium-Density Residential category, Norfolk was nominated by Forme and Fitzroy House was nominated by Piccolo. Though each development emulates different kinds of apartment living, coastal and city living respectively, both residences are icons within their respective realms.
Norfolk was also nominated for The Building of the Year Awards hosted by ArchDaily with Dornbracht. This is an international award that spans across 15 categories, further showing just how well this unique architecture is being received.
Oakwood Kew Residences was nominated by Walker Corporation for the Development of the Year - Small-Scale Residential (4-20) award. Crisp finishes flow throughout Oakwood’s interiors, keeping spaces fresh and light with a touch of elegance.
This year, the Urban Developer Awards will be held on August 4 at The Star on the Gold Coast. With 22 awards across two streams, the Urban Developer Awards will be an evening of celebration and recognition of these finalists’ hard work and dedication.
